- Entry Door: Located at the top of the steps, to the left of the garage.
- Keypad Lock: Enter your passcode (normally the last 4 digits of your phone number) and listen for the lock to disengage.
- Other Exterior Doors: To lock, lift the handle and — while holding it up — rotate the thumblock knob clockwise.
Tip: Ensure all exterior doors are locked each time you leave. The keypad door locks automatically on exit.
- Parking Area Light: Activated by motion sensor. It can be disabled using the switch in the dining area.
- Outdoor Decorative Lights: Railing lights and parking trellis lights are on a timer — they come on around dusk and turn off between 10–11 PM.
- Gas Logs: Controlled by the switch just to the left of the fireplace. The fan is thermostatically controlled. Logs are seasonal.
Important: Always turn off gas logs when leaving the house or going to sleep.
Living Room TV & Audio
- Using the Samsung remote, power on the Samsung TV.
- Using the Bose remote, power on the Bose Home Entertainment system.
- Press HOME on the Samsung remote to select an app. Choose Spectrum (Bronze channel package) or Samsung TV Plus (200+ channels).
- Use the Bose remote exclusively for volume control.
Connect Your Phone or Tablet via Bluetooth
- Press Source on the Bose remote repeatedly until "Digital Player" appears.
- Press the Bluetooth dongle until the blue light blinks.
- On your device, connect to "Bose QC35 II".

Fast, reliable WiFi is available throughout the home. Speed is approximately 96 Mbps — perfect for streaming, video calls, and remote work.
Bears: Do not leave food outside or in vehicles. Bears may attempt to enter cars in search of food — please lock all car doors at night.
- Children on Decks: The views are stunning, but it's a long way to the ground. While railings are built to code, please do not leave children unattended on the decks at any time.
- Retaining Walls: Please stay off all retaining walls. Some are over 10 feet high, and a fall could cause serious injury.
Garbage & Recycling
- Garbage: Place full garbage bags in the black bin located in the garage.
- Recycling: Place full recycling bags on the garage floor beside the black trash bin.
- Extra Bags: Additional garbage and recycling bags can be found under the kitchen sink.
🔥 Gas Grill
- Located in the garage — please roll it to the driveway before use.
- Extra propane tanks are available in the garage.
- Do not operate indoors.
- Return to the garage after use and do not leave out overnight — it attracts bears and other wildlife.
♨️ Hot Tub
- Instructions are posted beside the tub.
- Please shower before use.
- Extra towels are in the grey deck box next to the tub.
- Secure the cover with all black straps after use.
Wind Warning: Always fasten at least one strap — winds at elevation can pick up suddenly and blow the cover off.
🔥 Patio Fire Table
- Operating instructions are on a laminated card attached to the deck beside the table.
- Chair cushions are stored in the grey deck box next to the hot tub.
- Extra propane is located next to the refrigerator in the garage.
Our property is served by a private well and septic system, both sized to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests. We kindly ask that you use water thoughtfully and conserve where possible throughout your stay.

Check-out is by 11:00 AM. Before you leave, please complete the following:
- Turn off all lights throughout the home.
- Leave the garage door opener on the kitchen counter.
- Wash dishes or load them in the dishwasher and run the dishwasher.
- Lock all exterior doors and press the lock icon on the entry door keypad.
- Leave used towels in the bathtubs.

- Kitchen Counters: Please do not set hot pans directly on the countertops, as heat damage can occur. Use trivets or pot holders.
- Blankets & Pillows: Extra blankets, pillows, and pillowcases are on the shelves inside the bedroom closets.
- Decks: A reminder — the deck railings are built to code, but the drop to the ground is significant. Please supervise children on the decks at all times.
